- The Howard Leight FirmFit™ disposable earplug is designed to deliver the comfort of a classic cylinder-shaped plug with lower pressure, softer feel and dependable protection.
- 40% softer: FirmFit is designed to feel softer than many traditional cylinder-shaped earplugs, helping improve wearer acceptance. 29% less pressure: The foam exerts less expansion pressure on the ear canal for improved long-term comfort. Easy insertion: The slow recovery foam provides more time to roll and correctly insert the plug. High-visibility orange colour helps support compliance checks on site.
- Disposable foam construction: FirmFit is designed for single-shift wear and is available in a range of pack and refill formats to support site issue and dispenser replenishment.
- Inspect: Prior to fitting, examine earplugs.
- Discard: Discard disposable earplugs after each use, or immediately if earplugs are compromised.
- Hygiene: To maintain hygiene standards, disposable earplugs should be discarded at the end of every shift.
- Fitting: With clean hands, roll the entire earplug into the narrowest possible crease-free cylinder. Reach over your head with a free hand, pull your ear up and back, and insert the earplug well inside the ear canal. Hold for 30–40 seconds until the earplug fully expands.
- Improper fit of this device will reduce its effectiveness in attenuating noise. Refer to the product instructions for correct fitting guidance.
