- The Howard Leight Fusion™ Detect reusable earplug is designed to provide all-day comfort, easy handling and high detectability for contamination-sensitive environments.
- Patented dual-material design: The central FlexiFirm® stem supports easy insertion, while SoftFlanges™ help create a comfortable, secure fit. Detectable construction: The attached cord and metal stem ring are designed to be identified by automated equipment, while the blue colour supports high visual detectability. Two sizes help fine-tune fit for improved comfort and wearer safety.
- Reusable format: The product can be washed and reused for ongoing wear when maintained correctly, making it a practical solution for applications that require both comfort and contamination control.
- Inspect: Prior to fitting, examine earplugs for dirt, damage, deformation or extreme hardness.
- Discard: Discard immediately if earplugs are compromised.
- Hygiene: Wash reusable earplugs with mild soap and warm water only. Pat dry and store when not in use. Do not treat with other substances, as the earplugs may degrade and compromise effectiveness. With proper maintenance, reusable earplugs can typically be used daily for 2–4 weeks.
- Fitting: While holding the stem, reach a hand over your head and gently pull the top of your ear up and back. Insert the earplug so all flanges are well inside the ear canal.
- Improper fit of this device will reduce its effectiveness in attenuating noise. Refer to the product instructions for correct fitting guidance.
